This policy explains what information Utter collects through utterverbal.com and what we do with it. The short version: we collect very little, we use it only to stay in touch with you, and we don’t sell it.

What we collect

If you sign up for Notes, we collect your email address. If you email us, we receive your name, email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. Our hosting provider also keeps standard technical logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested, to run and secure the site. We don’t use analytics or advertising trackers.

How we use it

To send Notes, to reply when you contact us, and to keep the site running. We don’t sell, rent or trade personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Who else handles it

A few service providers help run the site and process this information on our behalf: Webflow, which hosts the site and receives form submissions; Google Workspace, which handles our email; and Google Fonts, which serves some of the typefaces on this site, so your browser requests them from Google’s servers. If we use a dedicated newsletter service for Notes, it will handle your email address for the same purpose.

Cookies

This site doesn’t use cookies for tracking or advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Correspondence is kept for as long as it’s useful to our working relationship.

Your choices

You can unsubscribe from Notes at any time using the link in any email, or by writing to us. You can also ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR or the California Consumer Privacy Act, and we’ll honor those requests.

Children

This site isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If this policy changes, we’ll update it here and revise the date at the top.
